How to remove odors from a hat?
Put the hat is a box you can seal fill that box with newspaper seal the box wait..... Newspaper will suck the odor out of almost anything .. I have used this method on a wine fridge I xonverted into a humidor. The news paper sucked up the raunchy plasic smell. And well ...to me tobacco...- jeffconnors

Shaping straw hats
Hello I just got my hand on a fine monti Cristi straw hat. Only thing is one of the center dents is pushed out and the snap brim dose not stay snaped down. Any one have any ideas on how to whip this hat into holding it's shape like a felt hat?? Thanks- jeffconnors

I did it myself...It took a very very long time, but i think the hat does not look too bad now...I dont know if any hatters really do moth repair..- jeffconnors

I hate to do this.....
Its a miniature hat..its not just the size....all the proportions of the hat are scaled down, like a model...put it next to a regular 7LO, which I have and the sears hat is in miniature. made for a child- jeffconnors

Put a some ribbon trim on the brim add 100$ Put a "guild edge" on a brim -100$ style over quality seems to be the way things go on ebay... Ribbon trim does look nice and all but "guild edge" hats should always go higher..me thinks[huh]- jeffconnors
