Buying hat ribbon?
Does anyone know of any online retailers that sell replacement hat ribbon? And ship internationally?
I want to change the ribbon on a hat of mine, but cant find anything suitable locally. I can get the thin stuff, but want something around 2" - 2 1/2" wide. Nothing fancy...
I got the opportunity to take a ride in a PBY Catalina over the weekend :D
It's great just getting to see one up close, getting to fly in one was an opportunity I couldnt pass up! After taking off we were able to get right up behind the pilots for a while in the cockpit, and move through the...
I wear mine with t-shirts, looks good to me [huh]
I also wear them with more formal clothing and suits, but only when it fits the occasion. It might look a bit weird if your wear a suit to the beach just so you can wear your Fedora!
Congratulations on your first fur felt JB, and great job with the bash!
Good to see you out enjoying it! I cant wait for the weather to cool down over here so I can get mine out :)
Thanks Duper! It was my first time with an open crown hat, and I'm very pleased with the result. Though I'm not sure how some of you loungers manage to do the teardrop bash, that must take skill!
The bike is a GSX1200 Streetfighter! Hmmm snowblowers, are they ride on? :D
After watching all you guys having fun with your Federations I finally decided to grab one for myself. I got this one in brown for an everyday casual hat, so decided on the Indy bash.
The open crown thing was new for me, and I really enjoyed 'sculpting' it the way I wanted. It was a hot summers...
Yes, that website has their full range. No prices, but I think they might sell them through a couple US based websites?
I have a friend who was given one of their felts as a gift, and he said it was around the $300NZ mark (about $220 US at the current exchange rate). I'd rather save another...
Kiwi Panama
New Panama made by local (New Zealand) hat company, 'Hills Hats'. Nothing fancy, but I like it, light and cool for the coming summer.
Woven in Equador, but blocked in Wellington (NZ) with NZ leather sweatband. Might not be a Montecristi, but it's nice to support the local businesses :)
Nicely done :eusa_clap
Must've taken you hours to find a way to fit all those in and still have your paragraph make sense lol
His Smooth Criminal lid is my favourite, I love that music video!
lol that sounds like our one!
Very heavy, and the leg pedal took a while to get used to, but our Singer is so much better than these modern ones! Very reliable, you can sew through anything with it! They don't make them like they used to ;)
