These are awesome, bit too small at size 9 - I tend towards a 9.5. Asking $50. A bit of scuffing on the instep, minor. I probably wore them twice while trying to convince myself they fit. :-) Offers cheerfully accepted!
Might not be adequately vintage for some, but I thought these were great, because they're actually a nice, non-trashy leopard heel. Dexter for Payless! $24.99.
Only thing that has worked for me is airing it out, outside, in a place hidden from the sun, for as long as it takes. Airing it out in the bathroom for awhile also works, because the steam from the shower gets in there. But the bathroom method takes much longer.
I know ALL about the refinishing thing! Thank goodness for antiques roadshow teaching us THAT little lesson, right? ;) I'll pass the info along to the parents...
Some antiques
Not sure if this is the right thread for this. My parents are looking to sell some antique furniture pieces, but don't know anything about them, other than they got them 30 years ago and may be 100+ years old. I offered to put them up on this site to see if anyone might know...
You may remember these - bought them on Etsy and hoped they weren't too big for me! Well, they are. I'm asking $38 plus shipping. I had to have them shipped twice because they were returned to the seller once, so I am asking exactly what I paid! But I can negotiate of it's too much.
