Regarding a question I asked a few weeks back -- the brim of a panama being asymmetrical -- I've come to the realization that it might be the bash/pinch that is off centered* instead. Is there any way to be certain? I mean, being that it's straw and not felt, I can't just adjust the pinch...
Is there a way to get a felt brim to curl up more?

As you can see, the first picture has an asymmetrical snap.
Is that normal? Because most, if not all of my straw hats snap like the first picture.
Lastly, my favorite of the three, and my go-to black hat. Pictures do not do it justice, because although it just looks like a black hat here, there's something incredible about it in person. 3" brim.
Indeed. After some contemplation, I'm keeping it, since it's not a case of human error that damaged it, e.g. nail marks or scratches.
