At the risk of sounding simplistic....it's really too bad that we can't all just be ourselves. We waste so much energy trying to convince others that we are exactly as they want us to be.
i grew up calling it pop( or as they called it in Newfoundland, "Drink":rolleyes:
That all changed when i married my Yankee husband who gave me a whoopin' if i called it anything but Soda:D
we have a wonderful company here "Propeller" That makes great old -fashioned natural sodas: Orange, Root beer, Cream soda & Ginger beer
they also make some pretty fine micro-brewed beers:)

When i was growing up here, in the late '60's, we used to get Snow White Cream Soda.The last time i saw it was about 15 years ago in Montreal, was this available in the U.S.?

when i was in college, i wrote a paper entitled "The Liberation of Men". It is simply outrageous that we, who fought for so long to be given the right to be allowed to live in full expression of who we are...
I have 2 adolescent boys and we go through a sea of milk on a weekly basis. I see this as a reason TOO revisit home delivery, not shirk away from it. I have to either stop off for milk practically everyday anyway, or send someone out for it.If i have to run to the store to pick up milk everyday...
I used to run a pastry shop , so i could be the baker & keep the town in sweets( someone has to look after the job security of "DAncing Sweetie" & "Daisy") Did anyone ever volunteer to be the dentist?

Thanks for the tip! I have not seen it in Canada for years. My husband , who grew up in Connecticut,has gone on about it for years, and wouldn't this make a swell Christmas gift?:)
