It's hard to say without seeing the style of the dress. Do you have a picture? I personally would not try to match his outfit. What about something like this:

This is something new, but I'll let ya'll know how it goes. BUT I did get the dress. It was not what I was expecting. The fringe is like upholstery fringe- like something you'd put on curtains!?!? And the dress is real heavy material- almost like upholstery fabric too. I can't tell if it's from...
You're all welcome! The more the merrier- might be a little far from MN though! But if any local people want to come over to my husband's speakeasy/garage just PM me- GirlFriday in coming and maybe ftworthgal!
My husband got to drive the "death car" from the 1967 movie as he played Clyde at last year's Bonnie and Clyde festival.
It has now been loaned out to The National Museum of Crime & Punishment --opening March 2008. www.crimemuseum.org
I don't know what we'll use this year?
Now...
Well, it's not me, but I didn't want to start a whole new thread. Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatony. I just think it looks lovely!
And this is her earlier that day, so you can see what her hair is like
Here's a dress I just won for our St Valentines Day Massacre and Soiree!
And here's some 1933 Chicago World's Fair souvenirs, a tie clip and hair barrette! Will be great for our reenacting!
I have fine hair and I use Bumble and Bumble too, but the thickening spray. I Love it! It's kinda expensive, but I figured it out that it's only about .50 cents a week, so really not expensive after all ;)
Love all the pictures!!!
I've been on lookout for some jodhpurs too! I need some for the Bonnie and Clyde Festival. We are reenacting the Dexfield Park scene where Blanche gets arrested. Here's some pictures, this would be 1933
I am not allowed to play the lottery. You see, I work in a library, for an advertising agency. This ad agency does the work for our state lottery. And so, the theory goes, I could somehow rig the lottery. Yeah, little ole me, working in the library, could somehow cheat and win the big $$$
Excellent movie! It was a little different than I expected, but I really enjoyed it. The costumes were great, Kiera looked lovely, perfect shape for those 30s dresses! The story is suspenseful in parts, a tad slow in others, but overall it was intriguing. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent movie! Saw it last night and it was quite intense, but really great! I just love good ole Texas movies, even though it was filmed it other areas too.
Also, I read somewhere the last words in the movie are the last words in the book, so go get a copy!
Wow, great info and pictures, thanks Lauren! I agree about the blood! Even though it looked fake, it was very real! I did enjoy the movie, especially the costumes but I doubt I'd watch it again. I'll stick with Scissorhands and Big Fish :)
I think some of the styles on What Katie Did come in bigger sizes. I have the Maitresse Bullet Bra in F cup- no stretch, so I went up a size in the band and it fits great.
I joined Weight Watchers back in July and it's been awesome. For the first time I am really learning lifestyle changes, and the weight is slowly coming off. I even lost weight over the holidays, in which I normally would have gained. But I don't feel deprived, I still splurged a little here and...
I'm a FF too and I only wear Fantasie, they are awesome! I used to go to a local lingerie shop, but now that I know what size/cut fits the best, I order off ebay. I have gotten a couple things at Nordstrom Rack too. I don't have this basque, but it sounds lovely!
