Sorry for taking over your rant thread, BB.
It only takes twenty more minutes than it takes me from where you are. :p
To tell you the truth, I like shopping in Wilmington a heck of a lot better than MB. You don't have to wade through thousands of miniature golf courses and acres of oogling...
In my great-grandfather's garage, there were around 40 or 50 bottles of vintage sodas of all kinds that lined the walls. When he died, they(and a bunch of his other, more valuable possessions) were stolen by a family member that thought they didn't get enough in the will and they sold or pawned...
Yeah, I couldn't see the resemblance either. :p
Though I do remember seeing that there was one employee in a bookstore that had a tie, but it went all the way down to the middle of the fly of his pants! [huh]
That looks like a really reasonable price for a suit, is J Peterman usually seasonal or do you think this suit will be available for purchase later in the year, say, Christmas?
As I'm unlikely to find a vintage navy blazer in my size, could you suggest a good modern alternative? I know you said one of the Polo blazers was as close to vintage as you could get these days, but are there any others?
BTW, in regards to sneakers, I've always been partial to the Jack Purcells.
Speaking of the mall, I went yesterday in a pair of cream trousers, brown saddle shoes, and a button-down shirt and tie and was asked no less than five times in four different stores by people wondering if I worked there and could help them. :p
I'm glad they decided to allow a little more "British-ness" stay in the American version this time around, I cringed when I saw "soccer" or "booger" in the books. :p
A website a few years ago held a poll about the ages of Harry Potter fans, and the majority were adults(and about a third of them were over the age of 35).
I kinda like the Stetson Black cologne, it has a great leathery and cigar smoke scent to it, though for some it might be a little on the sweet side(compared to, say, Old Spice).
