Ahhh, I've read that before and I can't read it again! There's one like that about Greyhounds floating around too. They all just kill me.
Irresponsible pet owners... if your goldfish has gone belly-up don't replace it with another animal.
That makes me think of something I saw on a commercial the other day. Philly cream cheese came out with pre-made, sweetened cheesecake filling. It's supposed to be that you just buy the readymade crust and add the filling, but I was thinking, now who the heck is going to fill a pie with that...
You know, the one that has always bothered me the most was Jaws. By that I mean I was bothered by the book not being as good as the movie. The adapted screenplay strayed far and I'm glad it did. The movie's right up there on my Top 10 just because of Robert Shaw's monologue in the middle...
See? See how things are moving along and questions are being answered? See how it's not hard...? LOST, I'm looking at you.
And we got to see little, tiny Hiro. And his up-to-no-good dad. And Claude. And... Eric Roberts?
Am I the only one wondering how they will explain things to...
Hey, thanks for putting this up! I love ephemera and nose art especially. I think I might have been to this site before just to look around, but today I made a small donation and got a pack of their limited edition cards.
Worth clicking the link just to check it out.
What are you talking about? It still is! ;)
Sorry, you left yourself open.
I love how a lot of the rules are to placate the women workers. I wonder what they were thinking would happen if all the women rose up against... hmmm... :D
Rats? I can take rats, they got personality. Look at Templeton.
It's when you gotta take a hep shot in the bum, you stop eating fast food. :D
(True story... Burger King.... Infected line cook... Never again!)
Oh wow, great find! I'm meaning to get over to all the donation shops this week. It's getting close to tax time and you never know what people will donate for the write offs :D
I'm fully aware I could be beaten by many of you for saying this, but I would give one of my kidneys for a few more cloudy days here in San Diego.
I can't help it, I like the cool weather.
I won't push it and ask for more rain though.
Okay, I'll crawl back to my sunny corner and...
Ohhhh, I saw this on BoingBoing and wondered if anyone else did, too. Makes me wish I was good at building things like this. BoingBoing is always featuring neat builds and making me feel utterly useless
Totally agree, mysterygal. The whole "falling in love with your best friend" cliche may be a bit out there, but there's tons to be said about being able to sit across from someone at dinner and have good conversation. Maybe I'm all about delayed gratification now, but isn't nice to have...
Hello Cherriexo! I'm so glad there's another woman interested in WWII here. Good to meet you! Ditto on the old movies... my Netflix queue looks like it belongs to an 80 year old :)
Definitely slip-off shoes... what a pain. Oh, and dress in layers. I'm usually freezing, but after the last minute dash through the airport, harried shoe shoe search at security and Southwest's cattle call I'm dying to strip down.
Glad Scorsese won, but I really do wish the Academy would start getting it right on the first try. I hate when they have to give out an Oscar a particular year because so-and-so got snubbed previously. Especially as in Scorsese's case when they could have given it to him multiple years...
