Just what I wanted!! I have been wanting and shopping for a Heywood Wakefield table for my den redo and low and behold what I found at my favorite Antique Mall today for the fab price of $68! Wheeeeee!!! Also picked up this Shawnee USA bud vase for $6 at the same booth.- CherryRed

Forget the Dollar stores...
Hmmmm...let's see. I know I get a lot of cheap stuff at estate sales. A few recent finds that come to mind are a 50's plastic raindeer ornament for a dime, a 78 of Bing Crosby singing "Route 66" for 50 cents, and brown suede gloves for 75 cents.- CherryRed

Different decorating periods in one home...or room?
Thanks CherryCake. I can't wait to do it. Keep in mind that when decorating in the past, people didn't always have everything that was 100% from their time period. They had a mix of things from previous decades just like we do now.- CherryRed
