I have been wanting and shopping for a Heywood Wakefield table for my den redo and low and behold what I found at my favorite Antique Mall today for the fab price of $68! Wheeeeee!!!
Also picked up this Shawnee USA bud vase for $6 at the same booth.
Hmmmm...let's see. I know I get a lot of cheap stuff at estate sales. A few recent finds that come to mind are a 50's plastic raindeer ornament for a dime, a 78 of Bing Crosby singing "Route 66" for 50 cents, and brown suede gloves for 75 cents.
My favorite comfy PJ's are the Nick & Nora Line from Target. Very cozy and retro prints!

Keep in mind that when decorating in the past, people didn't always have everything that was 100% from their time period. They had a mix of things from previous decades just like we do now.

Vogue is on sale over the weekend at Hancock for 3.99. Not the low 1.99 they usually are but I did get one. I have most of the ones I wanted. McCalls will be 99 cents there on Monday only.
