Don't live in a modern house, do have three indoor-only cats, toaster is unmolested.
The dog, on the other hand, is absolutely useless in that (and every other) regard, but we love her anyway. lol
AAAH! I thought I just broke it! :(
I've had a lot of trauma to that foot over the last year (stress fracture, diagnosed with arthritis, etc.) so I thought it was maybe just a protest in general at the amount of walking I've started doing now that it's healed - I'm doing 4 miles a day...
Mine are green with no brown but sometimes shades of gold. My brother lovingly calls that my "Reptilian look."
Other times they're a grayer green, but they're not what I would call gray. My sister has beautiful gray-blue eyes the colour of slate.
I can't paint my toenails. Even leaving aside the way I seem to have recently done something completely horrid to my big toe, on my left foot, where its broken away at the base and attached to one side and not the other - which is new, and weird, and saddening - my baby toenails on both sides...
Well I cheat and only do the vintage stuff that's easy for me. I don't do '20s eyebrows because I couldn't possibly keep up with it, I do '40s brows because that's what my brows want to do.
My hair is naturally coarse and somewhat wavy and I often just side-part it and leave some curl/wave...
Good golly, Miss Dolly, I need a town eye-doctor now!
To think I had innocently been pondering either Color Scheme A: Graham Thomas, Sunsprite, Summer Song, Vavoom, Cary Grant (<--he's orange, isn't he?), St. Patrick, and Oranges and Lemons, or Colour Scheme B: Zepherine Drouhin...
I like makeup on men sometimes. Its a certain look though and certainly not every man can carry it off. Not speaking to concealer there: presumably I have no idea if you're wearing it unless you're doing something wrong.
As far it goes, I'd rather the average Joe be more invested in trimming...
Do vintage American appliances even work on Australian electrical systems? Hmm. I could get a good deal on appliances here to take over there.
But a lot of people are nervous about vintage electrical appliances in ways they are not about, say, metal cookware, and I can't say I blame them. The...
I think Pennsylvania has less leeway on nautical than anywhere in Maine does. Also no particular easy way to use the Western doodads I like too.
But the sea chest sounds cute and I look forward to the picture.
For all my stuff about vernacular local style, I'm moving overseas and probably...
Depends on what you mean by nautical. Scale models are rather different than lighthouse wallpaper patterns, to my eye.
And there's a lot of variation in themed "nautical" rooms and some are quite nice and others only look okay inland to me if you're running a seafood shanty.
It's the...
Forgive me if I'm having a complete brain-shortout but isn't the Indy belt an olive green web belt rather than leather? What decade was which popular?
I'd be interested to know what decades had which favoured styles as far as material and width and things like conchos, smooth vs. braided...
I always had a soft-spot for those old-style funeral flower cars? The ones that look sort of like El Caminos?
Come to think of it.... Were they actually El Caminos?
