this is probably not what you want to hear, but i would just recut it.if you have anything sewn, take it apart and recut using the right pattern pieces for your size.A pain yes, but you will have a garment that fits properly for years to come.
I,ve got to try some of these ideas. My kids keep getting white t-shirts from their loving aunts and uncles, who have no kids of their own and have no idea how hard the suckers are to keep clean!!!( the shirts, i mean, not the kids)lol
i'm with shoo shoo baby on this one.i wear gloves for almost every other household duty, but when it comes to gardening i love getting my hands into the earth..unless i am pruning something thorny..i don't really like getting my hands scratched up.I am not afraif of dirt, i just don't like...
yeah, that is exactly what i end up doing as well.My dedication to neatness and perfectly finsihed seams/hems can vary depending on the project and my mood( and how much time i have till i have to wear the thing)lol . I wasn't sure if there is a "proper" method for this.
speaking of hemming... does anyone have any tried and true tips for hemming circle skirts? I have no problems with anything else, but there is just so much fabric to do on those, i find it very difficult to get it even. and nearly lose my mind everytime i make one

I am going to a sewing circle this weekend and hopefully will be making a nightie(if i can get out to buy fabric...have cold:mad: )i may try the ruffles.
i really don't have much luck either.i seem to always want the same things everyone else does and "everyone else" seems to have a lot more money that i do:rolleyes:

Rimmel's "Recover" foundation is amazing. It claims to be illuminating and fight the look of fatique and believe me ...it does.I have always found Rimmel's foundations work well for me, but this one takes the cake.
oh oh. these are too gorgeous. I adore them. I bought a similar pair in ivory last summer that i wore to a wedding, and i think slides are going to be my next shoe addiction..now that i have bought as many pairs of mary janes and t-straps that one woman can justify:rolleyes:
oh Miss Neceerie..it helps loads.I never wore rubber gloves when doing dishes or other household cleaning untill about 2 years ago.And i had the most horrible nails to prove it!They were so weak, constantly peeling, cracking etc.I really did not associate it with my habit of putting my hands in...
ooh. Good luck.i worked in a Patisserie for 3 years and i quickly became fast friends with several of the Pastry Chefs who used to leave little scraps of goodies on the edge of their work tables that i could munch on through the day.Funny thing though, i actually LOST weight while i was there...
