You could try to brush it more, and re-set it and spray.. sometimes it works.. or if you do any brushing, hold onto the fingerwaves, and just brush the pincurls. They may even make just a nice little roll at the nape.
But if they look as good as it does in the first pic, I'd leave it...

Christmas Eve we make tamales! Yum! And Christmas Day morning we have a big breakfast. I like to make Aebleskiver and apple fritters as the special treat. When we visit my parents we have a Christmas Day dinner similar to Thanksgiving. I can't wait for Christmas!
That will happen with the guides.. I use a flat rounded sable hair brush and dip it into nail polish remover and clean up the edges. Simple and gives a clean line. I learned that by watching the manicurist do it. You can pick up a lot of tips if you pay attention when they do your nails.;)
I think it looks great! The only thing non-vintage about it is the way the hair left down is. I really like it! oh and Rat-tail combs are a MUST. Especially when rolling on curlers... if ends are popping out, use the tail to sweep them back in. Works like a charm every time! * Beauty school...
