I recently lost about 7 lbs. I didn't really NEED to lose the weight, but I did gain quite a bit over the past year and didn't like the fact that I had to struggle to get into my girdle and pencil skirt. I'm also only 5'2" and I feel like at that height, gaining one pound for me is like gaining...
Love the costume. I'm a total video game nerd and that game was awesome, but it would crash my computer all the time, so I never got to finish it! Boo!
Today I was at the mall, dressed kinda sloppily in just a black shirt, jeans and with my hair natural (aka frizzy and wavy) and red lipstick on. Hardly vintage at all. But the man at the pretzel place stopped to talk to me, saying I reminded him of one of Howard Hughes' girlfriends and I looked...
I would love to have furs like that. Unfortunately it's not really in my budget, and since I live in LA, I doubt I'd get much use out of one. I do have a fur stole and some fur collars though, but I have no idea where they are.
I recently bought a great deep purple wool coat from H&M for...
A lot of my friends who are in their early 20's are interested in or are dating older men. For me it's never been that way. I've always been interested in guys around my age, as long as they prove themselves to be mature (which, despite the stereotypes, isn't that hard to find). My boyfriend is...
If I take care to gently wash my stockings after every wear I can usually get 6 wears out of them, which isn't bad since I don't wear stockings that often. It's only when I'm lazy and throw them into my underwear drawer and don't take care of them that I get pulls.
Regarding the first part, I haven't gotten *too* lazy from my girdles, only because once I start gaining weight and inches on my waist, they become very uncomfortable and not so wearable! I normally wear a size 26 girdle and I'm normally a 25 1/2 - 26 inch waist when I'm trim, but ended up...
I was a Brownie in the early 90's, probably only for a year or two. I was very shy when I was little, so I was not much of a joiner and disliked being forced into group situations (like dance classes).
However, those cookies were delish! I don't think we ever did anything other than make...
I have similar proportions to you, about a 32" chest and 36" hips. Maybe not as dramatic a difference, but I hear ya on the big hips/small chest thing.
I just want to reiterate, if it wasn't clear before, that I have no qualms with women who augment their breasts if they are doing it for...
I'm an art major at UCLA and right now I'm taking a photo class. I consider photography to be my main medium. Here's some of the stuff I did over the summer. I like what I am working on right now more, but I don't have any of it on the computer yet.
The above negative got a little fogged...
I actually do have quite big hips for my frame, but a pretty tiny waist as well. I like the dramatic difference between the two, and the Rago girdle can shave like 3 inches off of my hips (they are very squishy), which makes my figure a bit less curvaceous.
Everyone has their reasons for getting breast augmentation, and on a personal level, I wouldn't have a problem with anyone who has done it. But I agree, it's a little obnoxious how it seems to be the bigger (and rounder and faker) the better in the media, when all sizes and shapes should be...
I'm the exact same way. A Rago girdle really does wonders at flattening the tummy (at least for me!). However it does smooth my hips out quite a bit, and I love the big hips I have. But it's a trade off!
I wear Ruby Woo almost everyday (I'm wearing it in my av), and what I do is use a little Burt's Bees balm underneath, which moisturizes my lips but won't make the lipstick look glossy or slide off. That makes it last longer for me. I also apply a little clear lip balm on top throughout the day...
I have pretty good skin, I'm lucky, but my one problem is blackheads. I have a few that just won't budge on my nose and tiny ones around my lips (yucky, I know!). My skin is pretty normal but can border on dry.
Would the OCM be a good choice for me, or is it more geared toward people with...
I definitely agree with you on the first part. I don't like the fact being a gentleman always seems to have something to do with "fine taste" or "elegance", which in my eyes, always has to do with wealth. My boyfriend is working class and is more of a "gentleman" than most men I've met in my...
