I'm still a student, i'm so broke =/. I'm saving up for a pair of Allen Edmonds Park Avenues lol, I hope to buy them during August or July. Any reccomendations for a grey felt fedora for under 200$? I think an umbrella will suffice for the summer =).- APP Adrian

Good to hear! I've been living in Canada for 17 years, and I guess I've gotten used to the cold. So far this winter, I've never deployed my ear flaps yet. For the best bang for your buck, I highly reccomend a black leather sheepskin Ushanka. http://ushanka.com/product/ushanka-leather/ Which is very similar to my ushanka. Make sure you size up 1 cm or 2. If you're 57 cm in hat size, Ushanka.com recomends 58 or 59. I got my exact hat size and it...- APP Adrian

Are fedoras in 2015 the top hat of the 1960s?
Since fedoras are rarely worn in 2015, and that top hats are rarely worn the 60s... Does that make Fedoras the Top hats of the 60s? I've heard that it's accecptable on this forum to wear a fedora or any felt with "casual" clothes: jeans, t shirts, sweaters,etc. Do you think Top hats...- APP Adrian

Dang I just googled the weather at shangai, 1 to 10 degree celcius average lol. I would choose an ushanka with flaps up or a felt. I've my worn my Ushanka at -20 degree celcius plus windchill. With the flaps up of course. I'm a real muzhiki =D.- APP Adrian

Here in Toronto it averages -10 degree celcius, as you can see that's not really cold. You could do flaps up at 0 degree celcius and still be fine, or wear a fedora... It's up to you =).- APP Adrian
