I tried this recently with my Volupte compact...but modern pans (the majority of them anyway) are too large. :( And the powder puffs are too thick! :eusa_doh: -

TCM was advertising four of them in a box set called "Forbidden Hollywood Vol. I" last night: -Baby Face -Waterloo Bridge -Red Headed Woman -Under Eighteen (I think) I'm still really miffed that I couldn't stay up for Miss Harlow's movie :(- Avalon

It's been years, but I do believe you're right on both counts. Purple represents royalty, so the cross is draped in purple during both Lent and Advent. :)- Avalon
