Being a native to the NW, it was Kiro-TV's (Channel 7) Nightmare Theater. "The Count", played by Joe Towey, was the host. Man, it was hard staying awake until 11:30pm to watch it.
Interesting bit of trivia that I just found and never knew:
Joe was also the director of the J.P. Patches...
Ditto all that. I detest websites that play music. I'll give the OP the benefit of a doubt and assume they meant "in theory". Everybody has a different taste in music.
Went to the local Burlington Coat Factory today to check if they had any new fedora hats. Purpose was two-fold, I'm looking for a stylish but cheap hat for general purposes, mostly when I'm going out to go scuba diving from shore or on a boat, one that I won't worry about a lot if it falls on...
Lately I've been watching more vintage movies and also TV shows. Last night I watched an episode from the old "Cheyenne" TV western starring Clint Walker.
I was going to ask what time period skinny ties are connected with, but a little googling turned up an answer to my own question, but feel free to add your own comments:

Yes, as a matter of fact, I'm doing that also. Want to watch a good "suit" movie? Check out "The Man They Could Not Hang", starring Boris Karloff. I was rewinding and pausing it to get a better look at BK's double-breasted suit in the court room scene. I'm even looking at Marx Bros movies in...

Thanks, I needed that. FWIW, I like forums that give you the ability to edit or delete your own posts, even though it's only up to a certain time point on FL. There have been a few that I posted and then woke up the next morning with a "What was I thinking?! Way TMI!" feeling and just deleted...
Ok I'm confused about the term "gunboat". You or someone else used it in another thread when referring to what I thought were "wingtips" (like in your avatar). When you use the term "gunboats" for a shoe, what exactly is it? A particular brand? Googling it only brings up the literal, armed...
Comments from a newbie.
I agree in part and disagree in part. I agree that the off topic threads such as "favorite sandwich", "embarrassing photo", "occupation", "what do you look like?" and maybe a couple others THAT I ADMIT I POSTED TO should perhaps be reigned in.
But I disagree...
hehe, I removed that little quote in my signature when I saw it juxtaposed with my occupation post - OOPS!
For those who missed it - My signature line had this quote I saw the other day: "Another drink on a night before work is better than being hungover on your own time!"
