That is a beauty. Love to see that Flathead denim as well! Their 3004 cut is pretty much the only denim I wear. Amen on your sentiment regarding vintage cuts - they will be the Gospel for time eternal as far as I'm concerned, they just cut with golden proportions back then.- Chris_K

Will a teacore black Real McCoy's Buco J-24 turn completely brown over time?
Some, not all but some of the original Buco jacket's from the 50's were teacore to the extent they were not dyed through, you can see on the flesh side of zip tabs etc. These jackets are still black, only in high wear areas where the flesh comes through can you see the brown core.
