Apologies if this has already been posted: http://i46.tinypic.com/htd9h1.jpg :)
And nevermind my last post, my poor curls got rained on. Nothing like an English summer!
Hello SheBear :)
These are all of the diagrams I have saved:

I've come to report (I'm excited!) that my first serious attempt at pin curling went quite well. I only did the top section as that took me 40 minutes and I didn't want to carry on in case it all looked awful in the morning! I found the curls surprisingly easy to style compared to those from...
I only joined recently, but have been lurking for a year or so. I think the fact that there is such a vast amount of information available contributes towards the quietness. Many questions I have had that would have been posts have already been answered, so I simply read and don't post. I'm...
Cutting off my long hair.
It was lovely, long, and in great condition but such a pain to manage or style. Looking back, the amount of time I attempted to curl it and failed miserably is fairly embarrassing - why didn't I give up sooner?! Now it's a lot shorter - shoulder length - and so much...
Hi Hollybrick! I think I might have the perfect website for you. :)
A Vintage Sole sell unused vintage shoes - in quite a few styles. Sadly the sizing is limited, so it's best to search by size to avoid disappointment. Modern shoes really do lack that beautiful vintage shape!
Can't wait to see your results!
I've attempted this a few times, but it never turns out well for me. The curls are always very weak and I struggle to get all of my hair in at the back. I've seen some beautiful results on other people though. :) Very interested to hear what your friend thinks...
Have you had a look at Puttin' On The Ritz? They sell 1930s and 40s reproduction clothing, both dresses and separates. There are some very beautiful things to be found on their website. :)
This is the range they've discontinued - sadly none in my size. :( I'd suggest buying soon if you want some, WKD announced that they only had a few months left on their Facebook page a while ago.
Thank you for the responses, everyone!
C-dot, I think you're right about the air not circulating enough. I had a look at hair dryer attachments - wow! They look like something out of a sci-fi! Perhaps it would work for me - and they're quite inexpensive too which is a bonus :D Thank you Jane...
I have a similar(ish) question - I usually sleep in sponge/foam rollers for vintage styles but it isn't incredibly comfortable and sometimes you just really want a good night of sleep.
Has anybody attempted to do a sponge roller set and then use a handheld hair dryer? I attempted it and failed...
Dita's latest show has received some criticism, summed up by TLA: http://thelingerieaddict.com/2012/06/dita-von-teese-strip-strip-hooray-revie.html
Has anybody seen her perform lately? Is the review accurate?
I really like the look of her Art Deco range :)
I'm not entirely sure where this is from, I've had it saved to my computer for a long time:
I've never had any vintage items dry-cleaned, and have never had a problem washing any vintage rayon with the directions in the image. I've heard a lot of horror stories, however! Just be sure to be...
Ha! I also use Audrey's lash "trick," if I want my lashes to look really great. Usually an open safety pin if there's one close, failing that, anything very small and pointy.
