CaramelSmoothie-I had to read the thread a few times because it didn't make sense...NOW I see the confusion!!
I cannot help it but I am laughing myself silly :pound:
St. Louis...hope you friend is on the mend.
Lizzie-hoping the house is yours too sweet!!
Tonight we flew a kite in the neighbors orchard, ate some apricots and looked for pig damage along the irrigation lines,
Yup. He's romantic like that
Let's see here...

I am glad that we have known our doctor for 30 years, can call him anytime and he's always willing to listen and ask us what we would like to do...he knows we research as best we can before we go in. We just finished a throat cancer scare yesterday, thinking my husband had it.. All the signs...

I agree with Veronica T....leave it long enough for a ponytail and see how you like it...you can always have more cut off next time you get it cut....but you can't glue it back on! :eeek: you're coming off of really long hair, it may take some getting use to, emotionally and physically!
How...
Lizzie mentioned #1 real, local radio
We have one here in my hometown-they support the local businesses, have local news, weather, sports, have a mobile truck that attends special events, goes to local businesses for "coffee", where they talk about what the business does, talks to the employees...
When my youngest son was around 13, he and his sister would help an elderly lady-he did her yard maintenance and such and my daughter would do her housekeeping. One day Mrs. C just needed gardening done so I dropped off my son, telling him to call me when he was finished. We didn't have cell...
I am blessed...my husband will cook, clean up the kitchen and lend a hand when I ask and, sometimes, even when I don't however....he isn't fond of doing laundry but that's ok
I guess I must reeeeeally be old fashioned...I do the chores out of love for my husband and family, the feeling of fulfillment I get from keeping my home. I wouldn't want it to be a 'employer/employee' relationship...sounds like a set-up for a train wreck :eeek:
The smell of damp moss and fungi in the hills of my house remind me of an old abandoned hotel I got to stay in when I was a little girl. Some friends of my mom owned it. It was also my first snow, first creek and first fishing trip!!
