I don't know about you guys, but I hadn't worn a pair of jeans for years until last month, I bought a pair because I promised my classmates I would wear "normal" clothing at least ONCE this year before we get out(and only once). :p

Something has been bothering me the last few days, is it overkill to wear both a collar bar and a tie bar? So that not only does the collar bar make the tie protrude so that it is more prominent and eye-catching, but the bar keeps it from flapping around in the wind?

Most department stores carry "checkbook wallets," what I did is I bought one of those and just took the little checkbook slide out and it ends up pretty much what Baron posted, I bought one at Belks on sale and it was roughly 15 dollars. It has held up well, considering.

If there is one thing that I see which is entirely distinctive to most collegiate styles of the Golden Era, I would say that the Argyle sock is the most important element to get correct.

Nothing I think, rise usually refers to the zipper/button length though, I just wanted to make the point that I wanted higher waisted pants, so I put basically the same thing twice. :p
Well, I ordered me one today, and the only requests I put were: "Higher waisted pants than normal with a higher rise. NO belt loops on pants, will use suspenders. Pants with little taper from top to bottom - wide-legged pants." I also requested working buttons on the sleeves.
