I opted not to wear the white linen pocket square today, simply for variety. I've been in pocket square daily & wanted a break. My earlier suit photo was actually taken after I had removed it after coming home. You are right, however...this looks better with it than without.
Casual today...relaxing after work in the pool room of my basement.

Thank you sincerely for the complement; I do plan to post photos more regularly. I'm not much with cameras, but I'll figure this out.
As for the pesto...I simply throw about 1 1/2 - 2 cups of almonds in a food processor, chop 'em up till fine. Bash up a few (2-3) handfulls basil with a...

Joe the tailor did me right again...for the $30 I got the sleeves lengthened on a 1940s sport coat, with needed extra fabric added inside the cuff the reach the liner (Joe told me he shopped three places to find the best match for the fabric)...and new buttons all around. I dropped off a 1940s...
Thanks, Dinerman...am I now sideways? Are there instructions I should know to do this myself in the future.

I have been quite slow to post any pictures in the Lounge. I believe I've posted photos once or twice in other threads, but I will try to contribute here.
Seen here: Heavy wool navy blue suit. Dated 3.3.50 but styled closely to some of my earlier suits. Pants: no drop loops; measure...

Hey Chrome...I can't PM you yet, but I'm diggin' the Buick. You might get a kick out of the recording I made of a tune I wrote called "Roadmaster Boogie". Once you get enough posts to PM, contact me & I'll hook you up.

No work today...called because "bitterly cold temps". I'm having lunch with Count Basie Live: 1938 at the Famous Door NYC. The whole gang's here, plus guest Harry James.
I just finished The Maltese Falcon. I used to say this was my favorite movie...I don't know if that's still the case, but I seem to like it even more than I used to.
