The only way for the seller in this situation to make this "right" is to fill the oldest orders first even if it means suspending the taking of new orders, or taking new orders with the caveat that there will be a substantial delay as the older orders are fulfilled.
I think the hand over the heart thing is a custom. Many of the zealous patriots down here do horrible things that violate the Flag Code. So do local governments ! (Mercy !)

I concur fully. I was surprised at how much I like mine, and I ended up buying one for Old Dad, who is not required to like any particular item, but likes his, too. :)
