Not sure when mine was made, I have the serial number but I haven’t called Vanson to check. It is comp weight and I think they still make them. It is my first Vanson and I like it, it is a very heavy jacket.
Thank you! I did win a bid on an XLge on Goodwill Online for a good price, hope it is not to big! If it is I will keep looking for a large and sell this one.
I have one that was made inPakistan, it is one of my favorites! Hell of a lot cheaper than some of the higher end ones you see here!

US Army 1972 to 1974. Saw the Fort Polk sign, I did my basic training and AIT there, brings back memories, some good, some bad!

These jackets were made in the 1990’s and I have seen prices for these all over the place. You can find them on ebay a plenty. I ran across one at an antique store for $25. Haven’t got to wear it, bought it this summer, but I think I will like it as a lighter early fall, early spring jacket...
This is exactly like the jacket I bought off of the bay recently. Mine has Ideal brand zippers though. Best I could find, it was made by Fidelity Leathers out of Boston, Mass. I love mine ! You sound like me sneeking into the house! Hope this helps and that darn bug bites us all when we follow...
