I've gotten pretty good at sleeping wwith these in. I've discovered the trick is how you angle the stick pin thingy and don't put them in as tight as you would if you were going to be running around with thrm on during the day or bonnet drying them. If they're a lil bit loose sleeping is easier...
hmm....not sure about the hair breaking. I know if i dont pay attention and open them backwards(?) I tend to get tangled a bit. If i do the rolls to tight, I get a groove in the sponge part, kinda like an hr glass figure. I have the same prob with the frames falling off too.
I had my eyebrows threaded in November, the day after Tgiving. Lasted a very long time, over a month. I need to go again. Not as painful as I thought it would be and fascinating to watch.
Have you tried with sponge type rollers or the plastic ones with the snap on covers? I find these give more of a curl/body type curl than the velcro rollers. On my hair the velcro rollers just seem to give a bit of wave or an extra ooomph to my other wise straight hair.
Some hummm outside my window that I can't figure out lol
Good selections on this thread, I need to remember it nxt time I'm sitting in front of the computer trying to figure out what to by and download onto my mp3 player.

Need to remind myself not to for the person who makes me miserable for every holiday and birthday. It will be a miracle if my attitude for it changes.
As a mom I'll say that it may seeem to be losing favor because of the cost. Its crazy! My daughter wanted to get hers as a sophmore. I told her to wait until sr year and she had to pay a portion of it, plus she never knows what will happen from then and there, as in what to put on it.

I threaten the 16 year old that I'm going to shave her hair off 'cuz she has gotten into the habit of breaking her hair off when bored or reading, a strand at a time. Lol
My 10 year old periodlically (sp) gets her hair chopped basically for the same reasons. Too thick, doesnt brush it, and its too darn hot in the summers. She whines about it at first but realizes how much better she feals soon after.
I usually cut it somewhere between the shoulders and chin...
