    I didn't know know that the ridley is a slimmer fit than the j107. is not possible to have a j107 tapered down at the waist so it would be just as slim as the ridley or am i missing something?     So your have 2 layers on underneath in those photos? If it was me I would it more fitted. I wouldn't worry about getting back to the gym and adding muscle. The muscle will keep you warm so you can get away with one layer underneath.

    Based on my schott 141 I prefer the waist measurement to be 2-3 inches larger. I'm sure it also depends on the length of the jacket but I do like the waist to be pretty tight.
