Thanks for the comments on the Campdraft. As Alan said, keeping up with this great thread is a challenge! Today I went with the Failsworth 'Rodney':

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

If it had 1/4" off the sides I'd be really happy with it. I could cut it down, but I don't want to lose the brim binding, and I'm not sure my trimming skills are up to a dimensional brim. As it is, it's grown on me a lot as a casual hat, but I can't se me wearing it with a suit for work...

No - when you use the Global Shipping option the overseas bidder pays a very inflated amount to a third party that covers shipping and customs fees. As an overseas buyer I'd much rather sellers just selected standard international shipping and sent it via USPS, leaving me to pay customs this end.

Lovely colour to that Milan, Robert. ------------------- Thanks all, for comments on yesterday's photos ------------------- Adam Premier pork pie: Tried it brim up, but I've definitely not got a brim up face.

TJones - sharp creases! I hadn't thought of using a paint tin as a former. I shall now be on the look out for a 60cm one!

Stretching a hat - advice please....

In my limited experience a stretched hat (I only stretch by less than a full size) will hold the new size on its own if you condition the sweat thoroughly. Obviously if you sweat a lot or get it wet then you might get shrinkage...

Nice find Justin. The only Dunn & Co velour I've got is an English Velour, and we weren't quite as good at velours.
