I love the Fed IV!!
It's basically shapeable without steam, but a little steam holds it better. Shaping the crown is easy, but to get the brim curl it needed a little more work. -

The Bowler or Derby Hat
A bit more research - that style of logo was in use in the 60's - it changed early 70's. So it's definitely not newer than very early 70's. I did a trawl and there's the same model from an ebay auction that comes with the original box, and that certainly looks late 50's/early 60's so 57 is... -
