Greg - cricket rather than rowing (well an interpretation of at least) - It's a Nigel Cabourn 'Compton' after Denis Compton. Corniche still have a ouple left in their sale: http://www.corniche.org.uk/nigel-cabourn/
Brim is 2 1/2" on the bone (2 3/4" on the moss). Crown height is a little over 5 1/2" open, 4 3/4" to the top of the pinch and a little over 5" on the side (moss is pretty similar).
New Cane Rod Maker in bone. My camera doesn't capture the ribbon colour very well - it's less magenta and more wine/burgundy in life - very close to the jacket colour:
The other new arrival from Tim - bone with a wine/burgundy ribbon. Tim envisaged it brim up, and it looked great that way, but on my receding hairline I decided to drop the brim:
The ribbon close-up is the closest photo to the actual ribbon colour. Unfortunately the compact I was using...
Nice Milan Greg - you wear the small brims well.
Perry - another great shirt & hat.
Charlie - I'd never have considered a pug on a felt porker, but it works well.
Joao - definitely iconic
Steve - lovely Echter B
AnA - looks great, particularly with the new 'tache.
Eric - great to see you...
Joao - nice 7x
AnA - lovely Pecan
Harv - the felt's beautiful - it holds it's shape better than Borso's but is almost as malleable. Probably my favourite felt.
Michael - lovely VS
Joao - I like the crown on that JG/Resistol
Jeff - nice piece of royalty
Charlie - great hats on head and rack.
Perry - I don't whether to be more envious of the Pilgrim straw or shirt :) (nice Roobins too)
David - lovely dualist.
Harv - looks good.
Mystic - We don't see many thin ribboned...
I've only just got it, but I think it will be pretty versatile. I've got a lot of green/brown tweeds, but I think it will work fine with a charcoal suit with a brown or green tie (providing they're not too matchy).
