What?! MAC outlet?!
There's a MAC OUTLET at Waterloo? How did I miss that? I just passed it on the thruway last week! I should have stopped.
The new Revlon matte reds are quite good I think....cheap and wear well!

I put up a tutorial for an upsweep in the show-me-your-hairdo thread. You're welcome to use it for your booklet if you like. You might want to scan that thread and see if there are any tutorials there you might want to ask about using. HTH-- sounds like a fun project!

Caruso steam
I have great luck with the caruso steam curlers. I've had the same set since the mid-80s and its a work-horse! Its very gentle.
That being said, I don't believe the newer version of either the steamer or the curlers work quite as well as the original. I picked up one...

Lela-- I use the Salon Grafix spray. They formulate it for Blondes or Brunettes. I pick it up at my local Rite Aid. Works well. The spray is nice since it leaves a fine, even distribution.

Ladies
Would there by any usefulness to maintaining a separate thread here of patterns, by make and number (preferably with a pic) that have eluded us? I know we have had an effort to keep up a pattern swap thread, but it may be helpful to have a place simply to put info about our most...
I set my hair every other day, but I use caruso steam curlers and do it in the morning. It works for me because I can get up and evaluate how well my hair made it thru the night. If it still looks good, I can pass on a set...and if it doesn't, I just pop in the rollers.
I shampoo every 2 or...
Great pattern...I saw it and nearly bid as well...I have a complete weakness for sailor outfits, but I already have several! Glad it went to a good home.
