Speaking of travel bags, murses and such ...

He makes some good points if your priority is to travel as light as possible. I'm an overpacker; always have been and always will be. I rarely travel with less than 100lbs. I'll gladly live with the shortcomings of wheels.;)

BOTH SIDES OF THE TWEED! - Show us your tweed suits, sport coats and pants

Flannel in various shades of grey would work as well. Oh and navy too.

Speaking of travel bags, murses and such ...

Sing it, Brother! You have to be a bit soft in the head to be schlepping grips these days with all the great new roller cases on the market. The bag in question would make a decent club bag or weekender.

Better Deal - Optimo or VS

Well, you can lead a horse to water......... I feel good that I tried to steer people in the right direction but I also feel sad that such poor advice is found on the world's leading hat forum. It really is a shame.

    Show us your SHOES !!!

I only bring it up because it's not mentioned in the offer. ;) But sure it's boiler plate on order forms though it's something that's often rescinded. I've seen plenty of MTO returns on store sale racks over the years. The Northampton outlets are full of them. For these special runs a lot...

Fair warning for you Ebayers - Avoid seller a..fast...shipper

Bingo! If a dispute is filed in a timely manner eBay/PayPal will place a freeze on the seller's PP account in the amount of the purchase price. He will then be bombarded with notices from eBay and if he is unresponsive his listing privileges will be suspended.

    Show us your SHOES !!!

You might want to post a few more pics of the shoe, preferably from various different angles. Sounds like a good deal but having never worn the brand, much less the last, I have a question: Can they be returned for refund?

NOS 1940s Edwin Clapp New Englander Shoes

Sweet! Compared to modern shoes of similar quality they are certainly worth the asking price and I bet the seller would accept $400 in a New York minute

Willis & Geiger NOS Original Pieces from the 80's

Yeah, a member came in and pooped on the thread, questioning the OP's right to sell the stuff on the FLounge. Scott OK'd it and cleaned up the thread but the seller never came back. Bummer.

Willis & Geiger NOS Original Pieces from the 80's

Me thinks that bit of rudeness may have altered the seller's plans of posting the stuff here.

How to remove tailor's white chalk from leather jacket

Yikes! I don't think I could summon up the courage for that. Sissy me uses a steam iron with an ironing cloth. Yeah that bugs me too but not as bad as pins on my chalk stripe....;)

    Felt Micrographs

Cool stuff, Alan! I attended an art expo (either Basel or Chicago) several years ago where a photog was showing photos shot with a similar technique, using a variety of subjects. His gallery drew one of the largest crowds.
