So many gorgeous cabinets! I've been after one for ages....
We won this art deco drinks cabinet at an auction at the weekend - it may need a little TLC when it arrives - so far I only have this photo from the auctioneer:
For the last few years I worked for a law firm and listed funds on the Irish Stock Exchange but gave up work when I had our little girl - I'm busier now than I ever have been - but loving it!
I bought a stunning 1950's dress (someone had worn it on their wedding day) and it was in mint condition when I received it - so I wore it on my Hen Night and I had only got in the taxi when under the arm went, during dinner seams popped left and right - luckily I had a sewing kit with me (I...
Thank you! I'm all about getting things altered to fit properly (wish I could do it myself as it is so expensive but I do intend to take up dressmaking in the coming months!) - good luck with your dressmaking - I think it's brilliant to see so many ladies here crafting beautiful things - gives...

My second pair of Life Strides:

Cameraman - The Life & Work of Jack Cardiff - brilliant documentary - Cardiff's autobiography Magic Hour is one of my favourite books of all time so it was great to see him being interviewed, to see some of his on-set home movies, hear some anecdotes plus get a look at his incredible body of work.
