Back length for motorcycle jacket?
It depends a little bit on how you sit when you’re riding. You don’t want the bottom of the jacket to pull up over the top edge of your pants when riding. On a cruiser you can get away with a little shorter back, but on a sportbike in a tuck the jacket will ride up a little more. There’s more to...- bluesmandan

I’m talking about the bottom of the heel, which supports your weight... the heel should sit down into a little bowl shape... instead of the insole under your heel feeling like a flat brick that you’re standing on. Solid? I’m not sure what you mean. The heel cup is the place on the insole where your heel sits inside the shoe. It can be a flat surface or it can be concave (i.e. cupped, to be more anatomically correct and comfortable). Are Wescos flat or cupped? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- bluesmandan

Wested Horsehide details? Weight/tanning/etc.
According to Tandy leather 3 oz. leather is 3/64” thick. That’s what I measure my Wested to be... here’s a pic of the exposed raw edge under the pocket flap and then of the leather doubled over so there is 4 layers, and compressed... i measure 3/16”... 3/16 divided by 4 is 3/64.... It’s useful for comparison to other potential weights, tanning, etc. Apples to apples. Also different tanning processes can affect the kind of care/maintenance the leather requires. And they know I already purchased a jacket from them. And it’s been a month or two so i doubt patience will...- bluesmandan
