I grew up with a twenty gallon tank in the hall, stocked with everything from guppies to angelfish, and two larger tanks (150 and 200 gallons) filled with koi in the back yard. Fish are pets. :)

I'm watching Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. It hasn't been years, but it's certainly been months. I like identifying the actors, actresses and movies from the golden era, and seeing how the old movies have been smoothly blended in. Since joining the Fedora Lounge, I can identify more of them. :D...
When I was growing up in La Puente, CA, our exchange was EDgewood 3-3658. The area code has changed a couple times, and the number was changed once.
Exactly the phone we had when I was a kid. I wonder if my mother still has it. Hmm . . .
Remind me to keep my sister away from you. She has...
I'd forgotten about this book, even though it's one of my most recent acquisitions.

Me too, Nick! :D
I'm don't remember where I got the one on the left, as I don't know anyone who smokes a pipe, and neither do I smoke. I found the black one in a rental truck. My father worked for Milwaukee tools. The stamped "Zippo" on the bottom is script, rather than block lettering...
For a nominal fee, yes. lol
Just kidding,
BeBopBaby, Way of the Wanton arrived in good condition today. Thank you very much for your generosity. I know I'll enjoy it. :)

My entry;
NOW SHOWING: CROSS MY HEART
I absolutely hated that movie! Two people spend an entire evening arguing and lying to each other. The ending, of course, was completely predictable.
Back on topic: There are many, many movies I need to see again. And all of them are in my DVD...
fatwoul,
I also started with 35mm. (Thank goodness I never bought that disc camera I originally wanted! :D) My first one was a Pentax ME Super. I liked it a lot and was going to use Pentax exclusively, but then I got a Nikon FE2. I did a lot of studio work with both (I posted some earlier in...
Thank you for the information on your photos. Quite helpful. :)
I have a feeling I saw where the screwdriver needed to go when I was looking at it. But I may be wrong. :D
I used an RB67 in college a few times, and I liked it. A very nice camera. I also once had a opportunity to use a...
Incredible shots, fatwoul! What do you use when shooting your close-ups?
Hasselblad 500 C w/80mm Planar lens and 120 6X6 back. A pawn shop buy that I took in for repairs and cleaning. (Had it in my posession for less than an hour. lol) Lens wouldn't stop down.

Unless you've been in marching band, you don't know what it means to be uncool. Been there, done that . . . wore the tall, fuzzy hat.

I agree. I hate when someone tells me to have a good day and I come back with, "You too." I grimmace inside. What I want to say is, "And a good day to you, too." But, I'm in the habit of saying the former. [huh]

deelovely. Just grab a camera and start snapping. You'll be amazed at what you can do. :)
I'm waiting for a camera that I've always wanted (and just bought used) to come out of the repair shop, so I can take off with it. :)
Quigley, that is an awesome shot! ("Awesome" is a word I rarely...
