Wow! Guess what I just discovered through this thread?....
The pen I got from my Dad in 1966 is in fact a "Parker 51"
http://www.rickconner.net/penspotters/parker.51.html
While researching my Quink ink, I read up on the Parker 51
and thought, "Hey! That looks familiar!". Sure enough...
DaveP, I found that my MontBlanc converter leaked early on. That's when I began just filling the cartridges instead. About twice a year I dismantle the old Meisterstuck and drop into a glass of water. That dissolves any old dried ink, clears out the nip and brings it back into shape for the...
Dave, funny you should ask that - I just filled my Mont Blanc cartridge from my Quink bottle for the one millionth time. I've been doing it for some twenty-five years! I have a small syringe which I fill from the bottle and just fill the cartridges (2) from the top. They still fit in the pen...

discovered...
Yeh! My father used to say the same things about Beatniks. My grandfather said the same things about "Zoot Suiters". It goes on and on, generation after generation. How 'bout those "rappers" though!? Yeh! How 'bout them!?lol
Whoa! Take a listen to that music again. When I hear Santana's 'Soul Sacrifice' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnamP4-M9ko I can't stand still!
Or, Ten Years After 'I'm Going Home' - Alvin Lee's guitar! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNPX-9QXgGM
Or Janis Joplin...and the Who...and...
Which they did! As the helicopter pulls away from Yasgur's Farm in Bethel, (not Woodstock!), New York, the final shot is a
giant Peace Sign made from the hundreds of garbage bags of collected trash. Unpaid concert goers who stuck around after
the event volunteered to help clean up. Now...
My Nikon F4 is in the closet with half a roll of (?) in it - still sittin'g there after a year.
I haven't touched it since I picked up the D80! I love the digital and HDR makes it all worth it!

All other slide films are E-6 process which is a subtractive process, stripping away the color layers one by one.
Kodachrome was unique as it was actually a black...
