Daisy, it seems what you're talking about is discernment, and not everybody has it. It is how you say, without any tangible reason for trust in a person, you know they can be depended upon. I too, can tell after meeting a person who's trustable and who I should keep at a distance. I've never...
I've got mine layered the last time is was cut too and I kind of regret it. I wonder it it's because it's the same kind of cut I've had since my sophmore year [huh] anyone who knows me, knows I'm one who craves some change! :eusa_doh:
I've been asking around for tips on growing...
90% of the time I'm seen with my black leather purse, the other 10% I've got my small pink and tan one (cloth). I've been looking high and low for a nice brown-tan purse to match with some outfits. Everywhere I go there's always something wrong with them! It's like with clothes shopping...
Agreed. There is so much power in what we think and feel about ourselves. Another point I feel that needs to be made is that we're not meant to go about life on our own. We need those kinds of people when we're discouraged and losing hope to come along beside us and spur us on, encourage us and...
Going to a hairdresser is always scary. Guys, if the cut is bad enough, can just shave their heads and start over, for us, well, it's a bit different :) When going for a trim I always show with my fingers how much I want them to take off and explain to them that I'm trying to grow my hair out...
I started collecting my own video library when the youngest was born, with all the sleepless nights, there were for sure some odd hours that I needed a good movie to watch. All we had till then were guy movies (shoot out, fire, blood, you get the idea ;) ). I'm pretty happy with the chick flicks...
And you're smart for thinking that way. We are all human, and will at some time or other make mistakes and let people down. But to have no faith, I would think a person would become extremely bitter. To have faith is to have hope, and that is what spurs us all on, to conquer the goal set before...
You know, I've been thinking of this quite a bit lately, and I deal with these type of issues all the time when talking to other people. Confidence can be a process but for everyone of us, it is attainable. Children born under the influence of caring, loving parents will develop this trait...
That's what I wish we had around here, drive-ins! Never been to one, but they sound like they'd be fun.
I agree, Most of the classics can never be outdone. The only other one that was remade that I like just as well, as the first is, 'Pride and Prejudice'.
simply stated, the explanation, or definition of faith means hope in the unseen.
My faith has grown signifigantly through the years through what has taken place in my life that can only be explained by Jesus intervention.
Now, if you're talking about power of your mind over your life...
As far as glitter goes, I think it all has to do with the person's personality. My oldest daughter for example, loves the stuff, and anybody who knows her would think it goes perfect for her, whereas other people, they just can't pull it off. I can see the bouncy, cheerleader type doing that.
Scary. I never really thought of how much I use per day until counting it all up in my head! It's amazing to me the difference it takes between us ladies getting all ready and the men. My husband just needs to rub in some gel into his hair and he's good to go...with me, well, it takes a...
