Here is a picture that I found online of a Whippet [/IMG] And here is the photo of the Stylemaster from DM [/IMG] I see now how the crown and the pinch are slightly different, but to me they do look very similar. Hopefully my Stylemaster will be here in a few days. Kirk H.

Thanks for the info Monbla256 about when the Stylemaster was introduced. That add showing the styles is very cool.

The Stylemaster has been a hat that I have been looking at for awhile. I love the Akubra brand (I already own 3, 2 Fed IVs and 1 Adventurer) and have been very impressed with their value and the company's customer service. I am curious though, I heard that the Camp Draft was a license built copy...

The center dent is about 1/2" deep. When I was putting in the center dent I went slow as to control the amount of taper. Kirk

The docket was called and the first defendant stood in front of the bench. He was wearing baggy pants and an untucked shirt. The Judge stared at the...

Thanks Roving Bohemian. Sorry Deacon don't have any for the N-frames. There used to be an old gun shop here. The owner retired years ago and passed away a few years ago. He used to cary them in his shop. His wife passed away years ago and the shop became his life or something for him to do. He...

    I love the Fed IV!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=v1R3qWa9zz8 Mikieson, here is the video that DJH put out on a thread here on the lounge. Bottom line is that there are several ways to do it. I have done one by hand and then I did the Fed IV using this technique and it worked great. Have...

    I love the Fed IV!!

I will try to get some more photos posted this week. All I did to bash this one was wet it down, use the rolling pin technique that David aka DJH posted a while back to get the center dent, and then put it on to apply the side pinches to make sure it was centered. Kirk
