I hate Bourdain's shtick and cannot change the channel fast enough when he comes on.
I'm waiting for the day celebrity cooks, particularly tattooed ones, are off the air. I'm sick to death of suffering awful American cooks with more tattoos than culinary ability.
You've hit the nail on the head. Most people have computer access and/or a cell phone. It shouldn't take much time at all to research a source to supply or refurbish the item in question.
When all else fails, learn to do it yourself!
Yes, Eddie's downfall was his inability to reconcile his past. Had he stayed a butler his unsavory past may never have surfaced.
I've grown to seriously dislike that new rat-faced agent. While it will never happen I'd love to see him "baptised" by Van Alden..
The term "Heritage" makes me cringe. This term used with photos of too skinny guys wearing 2 day beards and overpriced head-to-to denim "workwear" inspired outfit gives me the runs. If any of the poster boys do work that required anything more than a laptop and a latte I'll gladly eat my hat...

I hope the writers ( John Rice and Joe Batteer ) did their homework and read the fantastic 2010 book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde by Jeff Guinn.
That book detailed the crushing poverty of the times Barrow & Parker sprang from. Guinn also discusses the horrible...
This makes sense. Anyone who treats their jacket with hot water and wears to dry is wet moldiing the leather. Stick a wallet in the pocket of a damp jacket and one may see the outline.
I could probably read Mein Kampf on the train and no one would bat an eyelash. This is due more to ignorance of the subject than to indifference..
That is not to say digital readers shouldn't have a place. I may purchase my wife a Kindle this year for X-mas. She does most of her reading...
Yes this is also what I am referring to. Getting to know people by their stuff. What kind of books are on the shelf. Cookbooks, fiction, biographies, etc. I'm interested in seeing what magazines are laying around, music they listen to, and movies they collect.
