I have had this homburg for years, but it's just a little too big for me, and I just bought another black homburg that fits better (though sadly isn't as old).
Made by G.A. Dunn & Co. in England, the hat has the full name and label on both the liner and sweatband. I believe the hat is 1930s...
I have four neckties for sale on eBay.

I have a trouser and vest outfit up for sale on eBay, made from a repro 1930s pattern. It no longer fits my wife, so moving it on. It is all hand sewn with traditional tailoring techniques. The trousers are nearly a yard in circumference at the cuff...
I have a 2 piece summer suit up for sale on eBay. It's a wool/Terylene blend, but I've found it to be a very nice, wearable summer suit. It's just too big for me now. The jacket is unlined, the trousers have been let out...

Five more ties from three different Sagniaw shops...
I should add, I have had medium and heavy weight db suits and jackets, and I never noticed a difference from my sb suits, but as they were for different seasons, I couldn't say how they compare.
I've never been sure about the double-breasted wears warmer thing. It's only an extra 7 or so inches on the lower torso. I guess I need a db summer suit to test the hypothesis ;)
