Sounds like sagely advice to me, right up there with:
- keep your eye on the ball
- keep your stroke smooth and follow through
- just squeeze the trigger
- brake early and accelerate into the turn :eeek:

I haven't found a felt that did not exhibit improvement after exposure to a good soaking rain.
Having said that, yes, RLK is right, repeated wet/dry cycles will eventually shrink your hat. Better felts will be relatively more resiliant.
As for the vintage leather jacket. Wipe off any surface...
I'll bet this sort of thing happened all the time back when hat and coat checks were common place in restaurants.

Not that I know of but any Lion Hats hat is of historical value around here - it's one of those brands that just hasn't received much attention. Could we see a better pic of the sweat and liner details, Rick?
