^ I have a long fake fur one. There is a long loop on the underside of one end and you can pull one end through the loop on the other end (a bit like a scarf is tied). Maybe you could loosely sew a bit of ribbon onto one underside and feed the other end through?- Drappa

Wearing vintage at home.
I wear vintage or repro dresses and skirts at home. If it's late and I won't be going out again I change into pyjamas, usually modern. I actually find jeans incredibly uncomfortable, so wouldn't wear them, especially not at home.- Drappa

I have to say I am so surprised by this! There are a few Fabricland shops around her and they carry mostly cheap polycotton and junk. I used to go to Fabricland in Canada and loved it, but have found the ones in the UK far inferior to the point of not even going in any more. Maybe I'll have to...- Drappa

Copy a pattern or use an original?
I used Burda patterns before I ever used any other ones and I would never have traced them with a wheel. If you can find ver thin tracing paper or even clear foil tracing with a marker is no problem. Sometimes it helps to lightly tape it all to a window in broad daylight.- Drappa
