like Grant Fan, i have very thick, curly hair which never gets greasy. i wash once a week normally, conditioner only. if i have set it, i don't wet it again till i wash it, just re-set it every couple of days and use dry shampoo on the roots if it needs freshening up.
i brush as little as...
well, couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make button holes so just used the bias binding. is quite folded over as too big, but when i wore it out last night two women chased me down the road to ask me where i got my beautiful dress so i'm not too worried about it!! lol
now just...
i have completed Bioshock 1 & 2 several times :p yes i am a nerd!
wait until they have patched the music for Bioshock 2 - it's good, although a little different to the first, but something went wrong with the sound effects and the jukeboxes, circus of values and the ammo dispensers (forget...
^^ Miss Scarlett, can you elaborate? i love what you have done with your hair here!
can you be more specific where you pin curled, rollered etc? thanks
thanks Grant Fan and Voodoo Kitten.
my plan was to just do the button loops like on the pattern, i however cut the fabric too big and even when i trimmed it, it still wraps over by about an inch at the front. i think it will look weird if i do the button loops now - they'll be really off...
ok i finished mine! i have no photos as yet, but will post soon.
all in all, i am really really please. i wore this dress for work on Friday and had none of the problems other ladies seem to have had - no bunching, no riding up, no dragging down etc. the biggest problem was the wind making it...

my hair is curly and i am doing conditioner only washing...
i love this game but it seems weird to see a thread about it here!
if you like this one you should try Bioshock, set in an underwater art-deco world that has obviously gone to the dogs.
oh, and my screen name is from it :D
hi ladies,
i have this pattern and have bought some cheap (ish!) cotton to make this dress. my original plan is to make a mock up first then get some fabric i really like to make it with.
i am a relative newbie to this sewing malarkey having only made a couple of skirts and easy things, so...

where are you on the clients gallery then :p
yowza! 16" - I wish!
well, i have a great big fat waist at the moment, courtesy of carrying twins and the accompanying swelling (shame i lost 2 stone in pregnancy, but gained a lotta saggy skin and stretch marks!) so i am not going to be silly and order a tiny weeny one.
just googled...
