Oh I knew that. But, seems like people use both "V yoke" and "western yoke" to refer to the same highwayman yoke, so reading that made me wonder if there were subtle differences between the two I was missing.
I see on page 2 that you spec'ed this:
-Interior and Exterior Kidney panel
But, I don't see an external kidney panel. Did you change that spec? And, does the jacket have an internal kidney panel?
Thank you, I have been using vinegar with a Q tip with no change so far (multiple applications of several hours in). I am going to contact Schott about the clear coat, then see if I can find a way to purchase the nickel ager chemical.
Wow, what an amazing post. Thank you very much! Any chance you have personal before/after posts with this method?
How does this chemical react with leather and dyes?
Thank you! I think I will give it a shot sometime! Will the acidity affect the leather in some way if it spills a bit? Like dry out that area or worse, discolor it?
Just read the thread, and I'm not convinced. How do we know Durable didn't make that jacket after the film was released. The jacket only seems to vary a little from the 618 at the time, and a costume designer could have well added those.
