Are the leather jackets from Aero and Lewis Leathers enough for a beginner biker? If not then is there a way to retro-fit the armor into them?
I'm just planning to get a 125cc bike and commute to work about 12km each way. Max speed is only 80km/h.
Thank you.
I was thinking, why would you post a perfectly fine jacket here, then realised the sleeve length.
Maybe possible to make a 2 tone jacket with the cuffs, belt and pocket.
I happen to have both
Bootlegger STF in cherry CXLHH and Hooch Hauler in natural CXLHH, in size 36. They are almost the same size:
Shoulder 43cm
Chest 49cm
Arm length 61cm
Length 60cm
Hem: 46cm in Bootlegger vs 45cm in Hooch Hauler
Yes I can feel the arm hole is larger in the Bootlegger...
I was asking the question in general - if it is possible to add a detachable lining to a leather jacket. It's not directed to a particular brand, the Bootlegger was just an example.
Has anyone added a removable/detachable lining to a leather jacket? I'm thinking of adding a lightweight Lochcarron to make an Aero Bootlegger more lively and wearable during winter.
