    Sounds like a very good purpose hat. I picked up a CH1 Desperado for my son. It has the distressed looked - it is stiff as a bord. One of the other Lounge members picked up a 20x CH1 which he is liking. You don't hear too much about them.

    Has anyone tried both the sherpa (fleece) and the blanket jacket. I have heard that the man made fleece would be warmer because of small air pockets.

    Thanks for the comments! I was just about to bid on one with the side pockets - won't do that. Thanks:rolleyes: I read some place that the ones with the side pockets are a little shorter than those without. Can that be true?

    Thanks for the information. It is zero degrees here now and I am using a Carhartt canvas jacket with blanket lining. It really works well and is enough with a vest under it. But I was thinking of buying an insulated jeans jacket. Lee has the Stormrider vintage from the 60s with a wool blanket...

    Hi, I was wondering whcih would be warmer on a blue jeans jacket; sherpa fleece or wool blanket lining? The Sherpa fllece seems light and is sewn into the collar while the wool blanket lining seems thicker and does not cover the collar. Anyone have any experience with this?
