So I’ve had a few Aeros, and recently got my hands on my first Flat Head (Delraiser). I’ve also owned a Fine Creek briefly a few years back. So I’m not judging Aero purely as an owner of nothing else if you know what I mean.
I came to Aero via Belstaff. My first proper leather jacket, bought...
So I picked this up…
I’m relatively new to TFL, so not sure about protocol re: posting about satisfactory deals so apologies if this isn’t how you guys do it.
I just want to thank Gil for an absolutely hassle free transaction. There was a bit of mess caused by UPS making a balls of the...
I’d be open to selling it - but I’d ideally like to replace it with one in my size. Had quite a bit of weight loss in the last few months and thought I’d have fit this … but not yet!
I think I’ll give it a week or so and then I might put it up for sale to get back what I have in it. New...
Hey folks,
I recently picked up an Eastman B3 (seal with russet trim) in size 42 second hand.
I grossly underestimated the size needed - I’d need at least a 44 for a close fit or a 46 for a roomier fit.
I’d say the jacket is lightly worn - 8/10 condition with just the right amount of break...
Also … I too have a fairly wide foot. I’m at least an E in most US brands. I’m between a 11 and 10.5UK in terms of size (between 11-11.5 US brannock).
I’ve worn Whites, Vibergs, Lofgrens, Trickers and C&J.
Of course the fit is dependent on lasts - but in general I’m comfortable in a Viberg...
I would also recommend the Crockett & Jones Conniston boots (linked in the post above).
Also …fun fact … if you want to save some money look for the same boot as a Peal & Co boot - I found mine on eBay, unworn, for around 200 euro shipped (retail price here in Ireland is around 500 euro for the...
Beautiful Open Road - I know you’re looking to trade, but I would certainly be interested if you ever consider a sale (hard to find anything in 7 3/4 - even modern/new).
Good luck with the trade search.
+1 on the above - the three crowns on the jacket mark it as property of the Swedish crown and that it was military issue I believe - you sometimes find modern jackets with the three crowns replaced by three globes, which iirc denotes export or export approved.
Cool jacket - good luck with the sale
Also thanks to MeachamLake for his patience - the jacket got lost in transit in Ireland around Christmas... but eventually turned up. He was superb at handling the matter and dealing with a very nervy customer!
It was ... on eBay to me (sorry OP - forgot to mention that when we were in contact).
Great jacket ... and I’d be wearing it now if it wasn’t for the fact that my other half surprised me with a brand new BR N1 for Christmas! This jacket now sits in the wardrobe in a plastic cover as a back up
