    Same here. I bought an older comet and really a noticeable difference. I'm still ok with the new leather, but the old one is on another level in my opinion.

    Sorry I agree that looks intentional. I can understand it being within .5 tolerance, but to me its unethical if it was folded to make it seem shorter for the picture. Im becoming a lot more content with my few off the rack jackets.

    Yeah I'm really not sure. I thought I remember the Firenze having a more rough pebbled type texture. I don't remember seeing other jackets looking like this one.

    Its my first Vanson and the leather on my CW Maverick is better than I anticipated. It's not as uniform and corrected looking as i was expecting and some grain is starting to show already. Time will tell. Either way I'm happy with it.

    The sleeves are a bit long on mine,but I'm thinking maybe not enough to get them hemmed. Kim also said they could add an additional snap on the cuff to tighten it some. I'll just wear it and maybe if it creases some it will take up some slack.
