I used to have oily skin in places.. that's until I started using Ponds! :D
However, I do always remove any residue with burts bees rosewater and gylercin - and since doing this my face rarely shines!
I have done really well for my other half.
I managed to find him a sample record of Amy Winehouse's 'Rehab' (he is a DJ) so he will be over the moon with that! Got him some Joop, men's moisturisor - which I am going to MAKE him use! hehe and Some WWII German items, including some cute...
Actually I think yes, UPS - I can't remember the cost now.
I just ordered a skirt from red dresse shop and paid $17 shipping , so it might be worth looking at their selection of SS dresses!
We could always order a dress each and share the shipping costs, you are only up the road! :)
Sorry to butt in :D
I got mine from e-bay, red dresse shop, my babyjo and stop staring.
I was also seriously shafted by daddyos - my bf's mum (who lives in US) bought me one for my birthday and paid for it, asked them to send to me direct.. she told them it was a gift and they charged me on...
I find the SS dress in a large fit me perfectly, sometimes I think they were made for me! I need a bit of stretch around the tummy as I am a 31 inch but the bust and hip area fit fine! In fact, I have found that SS dresses are the only dresses I can get to fit well! So far anyway.. I will await...
You gals should check out:
www.borntoolatevintage.com which is part of www.specialistauctions.com and where I just bought the most fabulous 50s cardigan!
I have also purchased a skirt from red dress shoppe, so when it comes I will take a snap of me wearing my new outfit and post a pic!
ARGHHHHHHH! He is so sexy! I love this man! Even his his SS uniform :o but obviously not what it stands for. The Germans did have the best uniforms though.
I think it's wonderful CanadaDoll! It says on the bottle for mature/sensitive skin. I am 24, so not quite mature skin yet, but certainly sensitive. The residue left after the cold cream certainly finds it's way out onto the cotton ball when I use it! Eww!!!
Another Powder Room converted Cold Cream user here - it's the only thing that cleared up my acne! I use the cool classic and then removed with Burts Bees Rosewater and Glycerin toner - kinda vintage and then followed by Dan's (acne.org) Benyzol Peroxide and Lashings of Beauty and the Bees...
And there you go, that's why Primark are the cheapest shop ever! lol
I have the worst luck with faith shoes and they are bloody expensive! Not so much the heel coming off, but more the fact that it wears down so rapidly!
Maybe it's just down at the moment Lauren - we'll have to keep checking! I have also posted a message in a reenactment forum, so if I hear anything then I will let you know!
