Vintage Spade Sole Shoes
I was putting them on and the shoe horn (vintage, made of real horn) slipped and sliced through the leather of the shoe. It was a freak happening, and I was shocked the leather gave way like that. I figured it must have been the result of dry rot. Alas.- AlanC

Thanks, Douglas. The brim certainly seems to behave itself better than my Artlite (I think you and I got ours around the same time). The brim on this one is a little narrower, too, though. -
