I think this is the story generally everywhere. Is the fedora seeing a resurgence? Undoubtedly if by fedora you mean the cheap style that are found in Wal-Marts, Target, and other such stores then the answer is yes. It's no big insult really to the people who wear them, since such places are...
I've got to laugh at the ladies freaking out about the prospect of eating Rabbit, and then giving away a good food source! There are worst things in this world to eat then Rabbit meat when your starving. I was raised to be an outdoors man though, I hunt, fish, and trap. Plus I've worked at a...
I agree. I would state simply that I live in the style that I enjoy the same way everyone one else on the planet seems to. I don't dress in this style to teach people a history lesson, which is the main purpose of reenacting.
What a real shame. I was planning on getting one sometime in mid summer. It's hard to believe that sales were so dismal. I guess despite all the talk about the return of the hat, we really are still a very small market.
I would assume that there are some Amish remaining somewhere in the EU. Surely it would be cheaper for him shipping wise to search a bit closer to home. Maybe I'm wrong though lol.
We have Amish and Mennonites here, but strangely enough they tend to wear straw hats all year around.

We have them here. They are the most expensive place to buy gas. Personally I'd rather pump my own anyway, but I'm pretty defensive when it comes to my car.
I'd have to agree. For the record I'm not a fan of All in the Family, or the Archie character in general so I am not an "amateur expert". That said I have seen people selling "Archie's hat" on movie prop sites before. My guess is O'Connor had more the one hat during all the time he played the...
You mean your Grandfather has a copy of Frank's blue/gray straw hat? Do you know how long I've been looking for a hat like that :eeek:. If true he is a very lucky man!
I was always under the impression that it was the fairer sex who had a thing about height. If I recall a poll I saw a long time ago correctly, women wanting their man to be taller was more important then them being good looking, or having a sense of humor.
I think on average men are more...
Well as they say old man (In the English sense not the insult :P).
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
Be yourself, and be kind to your mother, but as far as clothing style/ your attitude and your mother goes...
I haven't been around here recently, but wasn't there an article not to long ago, about the return of the suit in the office? Especially among people 20-30?
I've answered this question once, but since that was so long ago I'll answer it again :P. I've never been accused of being an "old man", in fact recently it's been the opposite. With such tv hits as "Mad Men", and "Broadway Empire" around now I've somehow found myself being on the edge of...
