How popular is the fedora in 2011? Are hats seeing a resurgance finally?

I think this is the story generally everywhere. Is the fedora seeing a resurgence? Undoubtedly if by fedora you mean the cheap style that are found in Wal-Marts, Target, and other such stores then the answer is yes. It's no big insult really to the people who wear them, since such places are...

    Pretty interesting video

I've got to laugh at the ladies freaking out about the prospect of eating Rabbit, and then giving away a good food source! There are worst things in this world to eat then Rabbit meat when your starving. I was raised to be an outdoors man though, I hunt, fish, and trap. Plus I've worked at a...

Vintage Lifestyle VS Re-Enacting VS Cosplay

I agree. I would state simply that I live in the style that I enjoy the same way everyone one else on the planet seems to. I don't dress in this style to teach people a history lesson, which is the main purpose of reenacting.

    Stetson Nostalgia Discontinued?

What a real shame. I was planning on getting one sometime in mid summer. It's hard to believe that sales were so dismal. I guess despite all the talk about the return of the hat, we really are still a very small market.

Who gives hats a bad name?

When it comes to Gonzo journalist I personally prefer Tom Wolfe. Nice suit as well. But that's me.:)

Who gives hats a bad name?

There is a difference between a non-conformist, and a drug addict with mental and/or emotional problems.

Amish straw hat supplier in France?

I would assume that there are some Amish remaining somewhere in the EU. Surely it would be cheaper for him shipping wise to search a bit closer to home. Maybe I'm wrong though lol. We have Amish and Mennonites here, but strangely enough they tend to wear straw hats all year around. Update: A...

    L.A. Noire - making of a 1940s based game

I've been waiting for this game to be finished for a few years now. The bad thing is that it's going to force me to buy a PS3 just to play it. lol.

Vintage professions you'd like to see come back.....

We have them here. They are the most expensive place to buy gas. Personally I'd rather pump my own anyway, but I'm pretty defensive when it comes to my car.

    Archie Bunker hat?

I'd have to agree. For the record I'm not a fan of All in the Family, or the Archie character in general so I am not an "amateur expert". That said I have seen people selling "Archie's hat" on movie prop sites before. My guess is O'Connor had more the one hat during all the time he played the...

Gents: Do you feel comfortable with a woman who is taller than you?

I was always under the impression that it was the fairer sex who had a thing about height. If I recall a poll I saw a long time ago correctly, women wanting their man to be taller was more important then them being good looking, or having a sense of humor. I think on average men are more...

Does vintage make you look.... *older*?

Well as they say old man (In the English sense not the insult :P). "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." Be yourself, and be kind to your mother, but as far as clothing style/ your attitude and your mother goes...

Are suits for work on the way out?

I haven't been around here recently, but wasn't there an article not to long ago, about the return of the suit in the office? Especially among people 20-30?

Does vintage make you look.... *older*?

I've answered this question once, but since that was so long ago I'll answer it again :P. I've never been accused of being an "old man", in fact recently it's been the opposite. With such tv hits as "Mad Men", and "Broadway Empire" around now I've somehow found myself being on the edge of...
