Rainbow Country X Mushmans A-2 Ross Bruno

Some of those mushman jackets are insane. Love the Nigel in deerskin and the blazer.

Thurston Bros. - Official Affiliate Thread

That's a heck of jacket. I'm beginning to think that if someone was looking for a 30's trim look that would be a better bet then an Aeromarine. If I was to do it I'd think about scalloped pockets and maybe buttons. With just a inch of added length. Make it in whatever is the lightest weight...

Could we see a bit more of that Aero Mulligan? It looks great!

Did the US Army have their own leather jackets?

A-2s get a whole lot of love but I keep seeing slightly different version worn by the army from time to time in old pictures. The following picture is an example. Notice that its knit at the bottom of the body but has button cuffs on the arms. Also the pockets are larger with a great deal more...

    Unexpected windfall $

Lost Worlds has a national racer in a 46 and 48 on sale for about a grand. It's going to be heavier then a Aero or Himel but is maybe worth a look. http://www.lostworldsinc.com/Lost_Worlds_Limited_Edition_Jackets.htm

    Aero Shackleton Explored

Looks good! It's rocking with the guernsey. It's way cool. How do you find the leather? The colors great but I'm wondering about weight and resiliency? Is it easily marked like a CXL?

    Anyone got an Aeromarine, yet?

What's the leather? A jerky horsehide?

Anyone ever order an Aero midweight horsehide jacket? Or Aero's Sheene?

Sounds great! You're going to have to post some pics.

Anyone ever order an Aero midweight horsehide jacket? Or Aero's Sheene?

I noticed a new mid weight horsehide mentioned on the aeromarine thread. Battered Brown. It seems to be below 3 oz horsehide ( I think it's higher then the jerky which I believe is 2oz) but isn't the normal mid weight? Not sure what is to be frank. Anyone have some more info? Seems not to be...

Alexander Leathers Simmons and Aero Aeromarine Discussion

The creation of the aeromarine is just killing me. I'd thought my need for jackets had been fulfilled with my half belt. How wrong I was!

    Staff changes at Aero Leather

Good idea. I've always loved the 2-tone look.

    Shawl Collar Cardigans

Throwing out another name of a tinny little company I've become a fan of: S.E.H. Kelly. It's not a full shawl collar but it's close. Dense local sourced yarn with an actual horn button and it's all made in England. That's something that should last forever.

New AERO 1930s Halfbelt in goat...A very serious pictorial review

I was running around eBay and I thought someone would like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/190731050445?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 It looks like a Jansolo Special 1930's Half Belt. Right down to the goatskin, button cuffs, and what looks to me like gabardine lining...

    White's Semi-dress Boots..

No. They break in nicely and in her opinion give a great deal of stability.

    My New LW Dubow A-2

I never knew LW A-2s didn't have knits at the end of the arms. Looks good!

    White's Semi-dress Boots..

A couple of months ago I bought a pair of 5.5D sienna brown White's Farmer Ranchers with heel to toe lacing in Water Buffalo for my wife. As they're from White's ebay site I think they originated as a cancelled order from someone with amazingly small feet but with good taste. Perfect for my...

    White's Semi-dress Boots..

That's "whitesriver" and they're direct from the factury. You know how ebay works. Starts at $250 ends up $400+. Especially if you have feet that are common sized.

    Why Shell Cordovan?

I'm a fan of the non-traditional colors. Those Blue Boots are fantastic as are those green Carmina. No reason not to have interesting shoes.
